Early voting in Travis County topped 2022 by about 100,000 voters before Election Day

Nearly halfof registered voters in Travis, Williamson and Hays had voted early

That count was reported Monday.

Tuesday's midterm drew a big early crowd. Hill Country News reported that both Williamson and Travis counties saw substantial increases over 2022. KUT says nearly half of registered voters in Travis, Williamson and Hays counties had already cast a ballot as of Monday.

  • Travis County record: highest early midterm turnout since 1998
  • Also beat early turnout for the 2012 presidential election
  • Some registered voters missing from the system had to vote provisionally

Celia Israel, Travis County's tax assessor-collector, said her office finished inputting voter registrations last week, so the system was updated for Nov. 3.

Hello neighbors.

“This is our dog Zeus aka Zuzu. Im in need of an affordable vet that could help me with my dogs eat infection. Google says there are no home remedies and not to put anything store bought in there. He has been shaking and tilting his head for a few days and we are just looking for a vet that won't charge us for anything…”
