About this event
We’re kicking off a series of events to bring our team and community together—and introduce more people to triathlon!
Our second event will be a Sprint Triathlon in Pflugerville , TX featuring:
• 1000-yard swim
• 13-mile bike
• 3-mile run
Registration is FREE for Team RADIOactive Full Members (see discount codes of the team site) and $10 for community members and future teammates . Nonmember registration increases to $15 on November 18 . This will include a 1 year full membership to Team RADIOactive.
Whether this is your first triathlon or you’re an experienced triathlete, join us for this fun event if you can confidently complete all three disciplines independently! Meet the team, bring a friend, and help our triathlon community grow.
Important: Course Conditions & Participant Responsibilities
This is a self-supported event on a course that remains open to the public. Roads will not be closed for the bike or run. Participants will share the course with vehicles and other members of the public and must follow all traffic laws.
A paddleboarder will be present on the swim course to provide limited support. Participants must be proficient in open-water swimming, cycling, and running and capable of completing all three distances independently. You are responsible for your preparation, equipment, hydration, and decisions throughout the event.
Because of traffic exiting the park, we will have a group that begins together once everyone has completed the swim and transition. You are free to head out on your own, but this is a personal decision and you do so at your own risk.
Triathlon involves risks, including drowning, traffic collisions, falls, and serious injury. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume the risks associated with the activity. All participants must sign the participant waiver before starting.
