About this event
Some thank-yous deserve more than a post. This Veterans Day, The Latina Foundation and Austin Latinas Unidas are inviting Latina veterans to a cafecito at Comunidad in Austin.
Service asks a lot of a person: time away, discipline, sacrifice, and a kind of courage the rest of us mostly see from the outside. So we’re setting aside a morning to slow down, to see you, and to say thank you face to face. Come sit with other Latinas who understand, and share a cafecito and some good conversation.
Join us on Wednesday, November 11, from 9 to 11 AM. It’s free, and there’s nothing to bring but yourself. We do ask that you RSVP so we can save you a seat.
