About this event
Outlaw country hits the East Side. Dean Seltzer & The Redneck Mothers bring their trio to Wolf House for a Thursday night of Texas honky-tonk with acoustic guitar, mandolin, and upright bass.
The set mixes Seltzer’s originals, including “Texas Sky” and “Lady Luck,” with deep-rooted covers from Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, and Billy Joe Shaver. Seltzer has shared stages with Charlie Daniels, Dwight Yoakam, and David Allan Coe. He brings that old-school Texas grit to a cozy East Cesar Chavez room, with plenty of personality between songs.
Good pick for: country fans, East Austin locals, and anyone who wants a midweek night out that feels more like a backyard pickin’ party than a concert.
