Ballet (Intermediate 1 Level - 3 to 5 years' experience)

About this event

Intermediate 1 (an elementary/intermediate ballet class) has a more complete vocabulary with an emphasis on developing strength and movement quality, and is geared towards those with 3 or more years ballet experience; for adults who have a good knowledge of vocabulary. Includes barre work and dancing center floor. Classes are set to live accompaniment. This level is a great bridge between Beginning 2 and Intermediate 2 levels of ballet. If it has been awhile since you have taken a ballet class, we recommend starting at the Beginning 1 level or Beginning 2 level as a refresher. The nature of the drop-in ballet classes allow you to move around until you find the class that best fits your needs. Dress code : Leotard and tights are great but you can also wear a T-shirt or wrap sweater and sweatpants, shorts, or a skirt. Proper fitting ballet technique shoes are required and we recommend canvas over leather .
