In this hands-on, in-person workshop hosted by the Texas State University SBDC, Jonathan Malkin, founder of Open Door Learning, walks you through building a personal AI assistant on your own laptop, connected to your own email, calendar and goals. You will set up a daily brief that refreshes each morning with your schedule, meeting prep and waiting emails; meeting prep that researches who you are meeting; follow-up email drafts from your meeting notes that you approve before anything sends; and a memory of your profile, people and priorities. Built for busy owners, founders and operators who are curious about AI but want to skip the technical setup. No fee to attend. Bring a laptop with the Claude desktop app and an active paid Claude plan (Claude Pro is about $20 a month). The SBDC does not endorse any specific commercial product.
