Thursday Volunteers (2)

About this event

Working outdoors in Central Texas can present extreme weather conditions. Please come prepared!

What to Bring + Wear

• Plenty of water

• Weather appropriate clothing , including a jacket if needed, waterproof close-toed shoes or boots, and a hat

• A lightweight, breathable long sleeve shirt (recommended for sun protection and for working with abrasive or irritating plants)

• Optional but helpful: your own gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray

Important Notes

• Participants must be 18 or older

• Please check your email for updates before arriving

• Take breaks as needed , and let the coordinator know if you need to step away

• If you find the experience isn’t a good fit, please inform the coordinator and check out for the day

• Activities may vary day to day depending on farm needs

Check In + Timing

• All volunteers must check in at the Farmstand Market before heading to the chicken coop to meet the volunteer coordinator

• Punctuality is important. The experience begins once all registered participants have checked in

• If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so it does not delay the start time for others
