Students and staff at Jollyville Elementary in Round Rock ISD joined H-E-B's annual Read 3 Big Texas Read In late last month and earned a $1,000 grant—funding that will support school reading programs.

TxDOT will close several southbound lanes on I-35 from Hwy 71/Ben White to Stassney Lane starting Friday at 11 p.m. for overnight construction, with lanes reopening Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. Drivers, including those from the airport, will need to follow a detour via the northbound frontage road — a key part of building new elevated managed lanes.
