St. David’s HealthCare has partnered with the Leander Police Department and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to offer a medication drop-off site for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day—this site will accept controlled and uncontrolled medications, ointments, patches, creams, non-aerosol sprays, vials and pet medications while used needles and sharps will not be accepted.
