🏛️ Government
Travis County officials are working to support residents hurt by the floods by opening temporary low water crossings at Sandy Creek Bridge and Big Sandy Creek and by setting up a Flood Resource Recovery Center in Leander for meals, showers, and other aid.
The county began free debris pickup on many roads and opened a volunteer center at Plain Elementary today—while it has banned recreational use on parts of Lake Travis for safety.
