Judge Betsy Lambeth, Williamson County's first female district judge, shared with FOX 7 Austin how she left three decades of private practice to run against Mark Silverstone in 2012 and now serves as the Local Administrative District Judge.
She said her work on the bench shows women bring fresh compassion and ideas, and her term will end in 2028 — she can run again until age 72.
