- ➤ MLK Day events were held across Central Texas on Monday, Jan. 19, with a Cedar Park celebration starting at 10 a.m. at the Rec Center featuring a mile-long march honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.; similar parades also occurred in Austin and San Antonio. FOX 7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ ERCOT said today that the Texas power grid is set to handle a possible winter storm later this week (using a contingency reserve and scheduled maintenance improvements since 2021) and will deploy all available resources if snow, sleet or freezing rain occur. FOX 7
