What is Seaholm Waterfront?
The historic Art Deco Seaholm Intake building—formerly a power plant pump house—is being transformed into a community asset for daily use. In partnership with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, The Trail Conservancy will undertake a renovation of this building and its grounds to create Seaholm Waterfront , a unique space for everyone who lives, works, and travels in Austin. With architectural design resuming, the Phase 2 project will take 3–4 years to complete, after which The Trail Conservancy will operate the site.
