About this event

Join us for Open & Guided Play at Red Horn Coffee House & Tap Room! This is the perfect opportunity to practice your game, meet other players, and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere. Bring your 2026 card, grab a seat, and let’s play. Food and drinks available for purchase.

Guided Play — For Players Who Already Know the Basics

Still building your confidence at the mahjong table? Guided Play is perfect for newer players who have already learned how to play but would like a little extra support during open play.

A Bluebonnet Mahj Co. instructor will be available for our Guided Play tables to circulate, answer questions, offer reminders and provide helpful insight as you play.

Please note: Guided Play is not an instructional class and is not intended for players who have never learned the game. Players should already understand the basic rules, know how to set up the game, complete the Charleston, and play through a hand.

If you have not yet learned how to play mahjong, we’d love to have you join us for one of our Mahjong 101 classes first!
