Tommy Taylor and Ryan St. Clair are an Austin, Texas-based musical duo, spanning a unique mentorship-turned-partnership that bridges decades of experience in the music industry. Tommy Taylor is a multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning musician—best known as the longtime drummer for guitar virtuoso Eric Johnson (including playing on the landmark Ah Via Musicom era)—who also performs as a singer-songwriter. Ryan St. Clair is a rising multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.
The two connected when St. Clair reached out via email as a 15-year-old fan of Eric Johnson. Taylor took him under his wing as a mentor, helping produce St. Clair’s early singles and guiding his songwriting. Today, they perform together as a collaborative acoustic singer-songwriter duo
