About this event
Let us run to the forest... to breathe, and laugh, and be still. Let us craft magic castles of twigs, and crowns of wildflowers. Retreat to the place where light trickles through treetops, so we can truly see ourselves and each other.
We will gather in a magical dome, in a creekside forest in central Austin near Pleasant Valley and William Cannon. When you RSVP I will send you the exact address. Each day includes journaling, time in nature, and a craft activity. All supplies, drinks, and snacks are included. This is the second day of a three Saturday series, and you can purchase individual tickets at 60/day or a reduced 150/3-Day ticket. Message me if you're interested in a 3-day ticket for a payment link.
For this second part of the session we will look at what we want to build for ourselves, and the delicate networks that support that growth. Like mushrooms, our lives are a process of death and regrowth, and there is a mycelium network of tendrils that make this possible. We will begin with guided journaling, then handcraft a several hand formed Mushroom Ornaments using armature and an antique spun cotton technique.
Take a look at the photos in this event to get more information about the series. I can't wait to share this magic place, and experience that we will create together.
