About this event
Local artist Maggie Allen will display her paintings in the Lakeway meeting room during the month of November. Maggie thinks of her artwork as an invitation for connection between the work and the viewer. Painting is her primary form of expression and a way for her to explore her dreams, imagination, and feelings. She draws inspiration from the bold color and expressive energy of South American art. Using acrylics, oils, and oil pastels, Maggie builds her paintings layer by layer, allowing color, texture, and movement to guide her process. All are invited to Maggie Allen's Art Reception on Saturday, November 21st from 2pm to 3:30pm in the Lakeway meeting room.
