-----
Inspired by the remembrance traditions of Día de los Muertos and held with respect for their living cultural roots, both nights follow the same intentional journey.
5:00 PM
Doors Open · Community Connection + Altar Creation
Arrive slowly. Meet the people sharing the table and add a photograph, name, flower, letter, recipe, drawing, or meaningful offering to our living ancestor altar.
6:00 PM
Guided Death Meditation
Ashleigh leads a grounded contemplation of impermanence—not to create fear, but to let mortality clarify what matters, what is ready to be released, and how you want to live while you are here.
7:30 PM
Dinner with the Ancestors
The Enchanted Waffle serves the same three-course, farm-to-table menu on both nights, with a handcrafted non-alcoholic elixir paired to every course.
AFTER DINNER
Quantum Sound Immersion
Ashleigh and Miguel close the ceremony through layered vibration, live instruments, and spacious sound—an integration space for the evening to settle beyond language and into the body.
-----
There are people whose hands we can no longer hold. People whose laughter we can still hear if we get quiet enough. People whose recipes, expressions, courage, quirks, music, prayers, and choices continue living through us—even if we never had the chance to meet them.
Most days, life moves too quickly to sit with that. We carry our grief privately. We remember in passing. We say their names in our minds and return to everything that needs to be done.
Dinner with the Ancestors is a place to stop. To bring their picture. To tell the story again. To sit beside the living while making room for those who still travel with us.
This is not an evening devoted to death. It is an evening devoted to the love that death could not erase.
