Lunch & Learn: Intuitive Practices in Contemporary Art

About this event

Bring your lunch. Feed you curiosity at The Contemporary Austin.

Every month, drop in to the Jones Center during your lunch break for a casual hour of art history conversations. No prior art history education or experience is required!

Led by art history educator and self-proclaimed art lover Kate Gibbs, each unique session will touch on a range of themes—from deeper dives into our current exhibitions to further explorations into overlooked artists and art history movements.

Taking inspiration from HOST: Laura Lit at the Jones Center, Kate follows the thread of intuition and how artists like Lit work from instinct and feeling, with an openness to explore the unknown.
